Documentation
How Director Lab handles connected accounts, publication states, and review.
Workspaces and accounts
A workspace groups brands, content assets and social connections. Each destination account is recorded separately. Authorizing one account does not authorize another account on the same platform.
Connecting TikTok
When an approved TikTok integration is available, an account owner starts Connect in Director Lab and completes TikTok's official OAuth consent. The application requests only scopes required for account identification and selected posting mode. The user can disconnect the grant. No TikTok password is entered into Director Lab.
Posting a video
Director Lab checks the file's container, codec, dimensions, aspect ratio, frame rate, duration, audio and size before an official upload. The user reviews text, privacy and platform-specific disclosure. The application records a submission identifier immediately, then reconciles processing and moderation. A native post ID or URL appears only when the provider makes one available.
Status meanings
- Scheduled: the target has not yet been published.
- Submitted or processing: the destination accepted the request, but public availability is not proven.
- Under review: a platform check is still in progress.
- Published: a native post has been reported by the platform.
- Public confirmed: audience visibility has been verified where official access permits.
- Unknown: the official interface does not expose enough evidence; Director Lab does not infer success.
Data and access
Lab workspaces and tokens are stored locally in the experimental Windows build. Tokens are encrypted with operating-system-backed storage. The product website itself does not provide account login or a cloud publishing queue. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Availability
Director Lab is currently an experimental build. There is no public installer or purchase flow on this site. Official API approval, platform review and live tests are ongoing. Existing production publishing schedules are not automatically migrated.
